The Parent Teacher Organization is comprised of all parents of students attending St. Joseph Catholic School. Parents are an important part of any child’s education and development. At St. Joseph Catholic School, we encourage parents to be involved in their child’s school life through volunteerism on committees, in the classroom, and staying connected through different communication channels. The PTO provides great support for our school through special events and fundraisers. 

 

  • Volunteering: We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that can fit anyone’s schedule and skills.

 

  • Fundraiser Support: The PTO sponsors fundraising activities throughout the year. Through various sales, promotions, and events we generate the funds to cover many school-wide needs not supported by other school budgets. Our fundraising dollars cover scholarships, enrichment programs and technology development & enhancements in our school.

Panther Gala

Our primary PTO event is the annual Panther Gala each February.  This excellent dinner and auction is an essential fundraiser for the success of our school. All are invited! Keep up with the details on our Panther Gala website.

Breakfast with Santa

One of the most special guests of the year joins us one Saturday each December.  Young and old alike join us for a pancake breakfast, photo with Santa, crafts, carols, and a special Christmas book fair.  You can learn more here:

Sweatshirt and Fleece Sale

PTO sponsors a sale of our logo sweatshirts and fleece jackets.

Spirit Nights

3 to 4 times each year we partner with a local business to host a St. Joseph Spirit Night.  These local businesses donate a portion of that night's sales back to our school.  Frequent partners are 3 Crazy Berries, Whataburger, and East Side Grill. Check our Facebook to see if a Spirit Night is coming up.

Box Tops for Education

General Mills donates money to our school for each Box Top for Education we submit. These labels are found on many food boxes (including cereal), food storage boxes, as well as plastic cups and utensils. Snap a photo of your receipt in the Box Tops app.

Scrip Program

Purchase Scrip's gift cards to your favorite merchants for everyday purchases and earn rebates for St. Joseph Catholic School at no cost to you!

Used Uniform Sale

The Jr. High collects used, outgrown uniforms from St. Joseph families, then offers them “on consignment” and returns the proceeds towards their Washington, D.C. trip. They will hold two used-uniform sales, in the fall and spring

 

Office Depot

When you Shop at Office Depot simple tell the cashier the name of our school or give him/her our Back To School ID # is 70002655. Five percent of your transaction comes back to the school at no cost to you.
